Hamilton police charge man with sexual assault, forcible confinement

Hamilton police say they have arrested a 25-year-old man after investigating a reported sexual assault and forcible confinement.

Investigators say they have charged Gregory Izundu with one count of sexual assault and forcible confinement.

Detectives say, at the time of the offence, Izundu was living at a residence in Hamilton’s downtown core.

Police say Izundu may be targeting vulnerable people and suspect there are more victims.

Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.
