Hamilton’s resident Peregrine Falcon pair, Judson and McKeever, laid the first eggs of the season!

Members of the Hamilton Community Peregrine Project have confirmed the egg sighting in a nest located at the Sheraton Hotel downtown early Tuesday morning.

A second egg was seen just after 7:23 a.m. on video as seen on the Hamilton Community Peregrine Project website.

Falcons typically lay eggs just over two days apart, so the next egg is expected sometime Tuesday night.

McKeever could lay up to four eggs this season. To watch the live camera of the falcons, click here.
