Hamilton Music Awards lineup announced

The Hamilton Music Awards are approaching, and today they announced this year’s nominees and festival line-up.

Harrison Kennedy, who receives the Mohawk Lifetime Achievement award this year, will be one of the performers at the November 16th show.

Comedian Shelley Marshall will host along with internationally-known music broadcaster Alan Cross.

Some of the notable bands up for awards include Saint Alvia and Walk Off the Earth are up for alternative rock recording of the year. The band Monster Truck is one of the contenders for rock recording of the year and local Hamilton band LoFi is nominated as well.
