Hamilton mobster Pat Musitano has been released from hospital

The fifty one year old, from a well known Hamilton crime family, was actually shot four times, including in the face. Pat Musitano was shot at around 7 in the morning while he was leaving his lawyers office on Thursday April 25th. He was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries, but Peel police announced last week that he was expected to survive.It’s believed he was released from hospital last Friday. The attempt on his life came almost two years after his brother Angelo was gunned down in the driveway of his Waterdown home.
There have been two other mob related killings recently. In January, Cece Luppino, the son of mobster Rocco Luppino was shot and killed in a Hamilton mountain house, owned by his father and last September, Al Iavarone a real estate agent with ties to local mafia, was murdered outside his Ancaster home.
Pat Musitano was also being sued by contractors who claim they were owed millions for construction work they’d been hired. By a company called Havana group the lawsuit names Musitano as a principal in that company.
