Hamilton man tasered by police

A man has been taken to hospital after being tasered by Hamilton Police early Monday morning.

It happened in the area of Hunter and Catherine, just before 1am.

Police were called after witnesses say a man with a knife was shouting that he was going to kill people.

The man was taken to hospital, his condition is unknown. No word yet if any charges have been laid.
