A 64-year-old Hamilton man is facing charges in connection with a fatal collision between a car and an electric scooter that happened in August, say police.

The charges come after a month-long investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash, which happened at the intersection of Maple and Grosvenor avenues on Aug. 22.

The crash claimed the life of a 62-year-old woman who was driving the e-scooter.

Police say their investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-546-4753.
