Hamilton man charged with sex assault

Hamilton police have arrested a man after he allegedly entered a home and sexually assaulted the woman inside.

The woman was home alone at an apartment on Sanford Avenue North near Barton Street on Friday when she heard a knock at her door.

Police say it was a former tenant who had allegedly been harassing her with phone calls for weeks.

Fletchenal Walters from Hamilton is facing several charges, including sexual assault and criminal harassment.
