Hamilton man charged in youth sexual assault investigation: Niagara police

Niagara police arrest a Hamilton man after an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a young person.

Officers say the investigation revealed that the 22-year-old accused man would befriend teenagers from the Hamilton, Niagara and Waterloo areas and offer vape pens or cannabis in exchange for sexual favours.

Detectives in Niagara arrested 22-year-old Tywante Adrian Jakwon Davidson-Baptiste in Hamilton on Wednesday.

The accused has been charged with making sexually explicit material available to a child, producing and sharing child sexual abuse material and failing to comply with a probation order.

Investigators believe there are additional victims and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009128.
