Hamilton man arrested after carjacking in Etobicoke

A Hamilton man is facing more than 20 charges after allegedly carjacking a vehicle and firing several shots through a glass door in Etobicoke.

Toronto police say yesterday morning the 22-year-old man stole a vehicle from a delivery driver, pointed a firearm while driving, crashed the vehicle in a construction zone, ran away from police and attempted to get into an office building where he allegedly fired multiple shots into the window and door to get inside. police tell us what happened next.

22-year-old Ismail Patel of Hamilton faces a number of charges including robbery, wearing a disguise, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, more than a dozen firearm-related charges along with breaching probation.
