Hamilton Huskies and Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs team up to form Hamilton Steel Hockey Club

The Hamilton Huskies and Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs have come together to form a new AAA association under the new name, Hamilton Steel Hockey Club. The three-year pilot project within the City of Hamilton will feature teams at the highest level from the 10 and under to the 18 and under age levels.

Under the present system, Hamilton AAA age groups are represented by two franchises, that being the Huskies and Jr. Bulldogs. Under the newly merged Hamilton Steel Hockey Club, players currently residing within the geographical area of the city of Hamilton, and its surrounding areas including Hagersville and Caledonia can join the program.

In the end, the sometimes hotly contested competition between the two organizations will end, thus players will maintain the enjoyment of the game while offering an elite program to provide an even better player experience.

The Hamilton Steel Hockey Club project has been endorsed by the Ontario Hockey Federation, Alliance Hockey, and the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, and will launch in 2023.
