Hamilton hosts in-school vaccine clinics during September

Hamilton Public Health will be hosting several in-school vaccine clinics throughout the month of September.

The clinics will be available to all students with the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board and Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board as well as their families. Staff in each school community and eligible students from elementary feeder schools will also be able to access the sites.

The clinics will offer Pfizer and Moderna vaccinations to individuals born in 2009 and earlier.

Those who are eligible to receive a first or second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine can walk in to any of the locations.

Hamilton healthcare partners have administered a total of 786,344 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

The city says 80.1 per cent of eligible Hamiltonians have received at least one dose of a vaccine and 72.8 per cent fully vaccinated.
