Hamilton Health Sciences makes budget cuts

Hamilton Health Sciences is cutting up to $25 million as it faces a zero percent increase for its operating budget.

Officials say job cuts are expected in order to balance their $1.2 billion budget.

Hamilton Health Sciences has been forced to cut costs by $104 million since 2007.

Major changes are expected for their leadership including the departure of the Vice-President of communications at the end of the month.
