Hamilton fire was not arson

Now to an update on a fire in Hamilton.

Police say a fire that broke out Monday morning at a home in the area of West 4th Street and McElroy Road is not suspicious.

An investigation was launched, after police were called to assist firefighters, but arson is no longer suspected and the investigation is complete.

The fire is believed to have started in the basement. Damage to the house is estimated to be about $90,000.
