Hamilton fire crews perform rope rescue near Dundas Peak

The Hamilton Fire Department says they performed a rope rescue Saturday afternoon after a person fell near Dundas Peak.

Authorities were dispatched to 590 Harvest Rd. shortly before 3:30 p.m. after a person fell approximately 15 metres off a ledge.

Crews were able to successfully retrieve the person who was transferred to the care of paramedics.

No information has been provided on the condition of the rescued person.
