Hamilton celebrates Canadian tradition that’s smothered in gravy

As the sun shined, the gravy poured at a poutine festival in Gage Park.

Poutines ranged from the classic gravy and cheese, to lobster, to even vegan and vegetarian options.

This was an eco friendly event as organizers asked guests to bring their own reusable straws and utensils. They also provided festival goers with biodegradable forks at the park.

The festival continues July 21 until 7 p.m.
