Hamilton capital spending budget approved

Hamilton city councilors have approved a $252 million capital budget for 2013, up $31 million from this year.

The projects on the city’s priority list include road work, Pan Am projects and transit.

But there’s a lack of funding for two-way street conversions and light rail transit.

They are both missing from the funding list.

So are several park development initiatives and a police investigative building.
