Hamilton bylaw officers dismantle tents outside city hall

By-law officers handed out trespassing notices and tore down tents that had been set up outside of Hamilton city hall for the last week. Emotions ran high, as the protestors’ tents and belongings were dragged into waiting garbage trucks. The group is still calling for the police budget to be cut in favour of housing needs in the city.
