Hamilton bank robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at a bank in downtown Hamilton Thursday afternoon.

A male suspect entered the Bank of Montreal at James Street North near Barton Street just before 3 and made a verbal demand for cash.

When the teller hesitated the male moved behind the counter and took cash before fleeing.

He is described as white male, 6′ 2″ tall, with a slender build and wearing a grey hoodie.
