Hamilton apartment fire

Firefighters are cleaning up after a fire in a high rise apartment building in north Hamilton early Thursday morning.

Fire crews responded to multiple alarms just before 4am.

It’s believed a fire started in a unit on the 13th floor, but people in the building told CHCH News they found smoke on the 15th floor.

Two people were treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation.

So far there have been no reports of serious injuries.
