Hamilton airport fire causes minor damage

A fire at Hamilton International Airport was put out this morning before causing any major damage.

It happened just before 10:00 at one of the hangers. Hamilton’s fire department says a pot used for heating up tar caught on fire.

Crews at the airport were able to control the flames before firefighters arrived. No one was hurt.
