Halton police are warning the public to be on the lookout for an evasive hit-and-run suspect.

Officers are accusing Trevor Adams of failing to remain at the scene of a car crash that happened in Burlington last June. Police say they were able to catch up with the man afterwards, only for him to flee again.

The collision occurred around Maple Avenue and Fairview Street in Burlington on June 23.

There were no injuries.

Police say Adams has ties to Burlington but is also known to frequent Hamilton.
