Halton Police are asking for help identifying a man wanted for stealing from two businesses in Milton.

Police say on June 8 the man entered an employee locker room at the McDonald’s inside the Walmart on Steeles Ave. around 6 p.m.

The man rummaged through bags and purses and stole a wallet.

A bank card inside the stolen wallet was used to buy something at Tim Horton’s.

A second attempt to use the card somewhere else didn’t work.

Police say the same man entered the employee only area at Lowe’s on Ontario St. South around 8:30 p.m. that day.

He rummaged through lockers and stole a bottle of prescription medication.

He then went to the store’s customer service area where he attempted to open a Lowe’s credit card with a fraudulent driver’s license.

Police say he fled on foot to a waiting dark-coloured vehicle, described as a newer model four-door sedan.

Security camera images of the man have been released.

He is described as around 6-feet-tall and 230 lbs.

Anyone with information is asked to call Halton Police at 905-825-4747 x 2405.
