Grimsby adding expanded patio space on Main Street

The Town of Grimsby is getting ready for expanded patio space.

Main St. is closed until 1 p.m. Thursday for the installation of concrete barriers between Ontario St. and Mountain Rd.

“Expanding outdoor patios will help our restaurants and retail businesses attract local shoppers and create an exciting presence in the downtown,” said Mayor Jeff Jordan.

The expanded space will be used by restaurants and retail spaces.

The new barriers will eliminate street parking on the north side of Main St.
