Greenbelt Harvest Picnic announced

The Greenbelt Harvest Picnic is a premiere performance event in southern Ontario.

Today, organizers provided an update on this year’s performers and other aspects of the daylong event which takes place at the Christie Lake Conservation Area in Dundas.

Headliners at this year’s picnic on Saturday, August 23rd include Daniel Lanois, Bruce Cockburn, Sarah Harmer, Ron Sexsmith along with Boris Brott & the National Academy Orchestra. The event serves to celebrate the importance of the greenbelt and features local farmers, horticulture, art and the eat-local movement. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
