Granola bars recalled nationally due to possible bits of metal
Several varieties of a popular line of granola bars are being recalled across the country due to a potential safety hazard.
MadeGood has voluntarily recalled eight flavours of its bars made between January and November 2024 due to possible metal contamination.
The bars include the flavours Chocolate Banana, Chocolate Chip (regular and mini), Mixed Berry, Cookies & Crème, Strawberry and variety packs.
Chocolate Drizzled granola bars in the flavours Birthday Cake, Vanilla and Cookie Crumble are also included in the recall.
The company said that there have been no reports of injury, adding “we’re initiating this recall out of an abundance of caution”.
According to the MadeGood website refunds will be made available at the retailer where the products were purchased.
