Government will step in if Air Canada flight attendants strike
Federal Labour Minister Lisa Raitt says the federal government
will introduce back-to-work legislation if Air Canada flight
attendants strike.
She’s served 72-hour notice.
The airline and the union representing flight attendants are
negotiating non-stop in an effort to reach a deal before the strike
deadline Wednesday.
Air Canada is allowing travellers who are to booked to fly over
the next six days to change their flights free of charge to a later
date, subject to availability.
