Metrolinx is warning its passengers that some of its GO Trains will run at slower speeds today due to an extreme heat warning.

“To ensure the safety of our customers and crew, slow orders are issued along the network,” reads a statement from the Crown agency.

The delays are expected to be 10 to 15 minutes later than originally scheduled at their destination.

Metrolinx also says that some trips may be cancelled.
