Glen Eden welcomes skiiers on opening day

Skiiers and snowboarders are relishing this latest blast of winter weather.

Milton’s Glen Eden ski hill opened for the season Saturday.

A thick layer of the white stuff and temperatures hovering above freezing made for perfect conditions on the slopes, pumping up the hundreds of guests.

Glen Eden boasts a snow base 30 cm thick thanks to it’s snow making equipment and have been prepping the hills for four months.

Staff says they expect a great ski season.
