Girl dies after home invasion

A teenage girl who was critically injured in a weekend home invasion in Toronto has died in hospital.

Toronto police say the 16-year-old was at home at 150 Burrows Hall Boulevard on Saturday morning when two men forced themselves in.

Police have not released her name or details of her injuries.

They have said that the men were looking for something specific in the home.

The suspects are described as black with heavy caribbean accents, between 5′ 9″ and 6 feet, they were well dressed wearing suits and overcoats.

Toronto police are still investigating.
