Ontario Auditor General Jim McCarter will reveal his report into the cancellation of the Mississauga gas plant on April 15th.

The Liberals cancelled the plant when it was already under construction, during the end of the 2011 election campaign. They say the cost of relocating the gas plant to Sarnia will cost $190 million. They also claimed that pulling the plug on another plant in Oakville would cost taxpayers $40 million, but later said it could be more. An energy consultant testified that the cost is around $638 million.
