Fury

Fury is a World War 2 tank film written and directed by David Ayer (Sabotage, End of Watch). It stars Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña, Jon Bernthal, Jason Issacs, and Scott Eastwood. The film’s official synopsis:
April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
Being a tank film, Fury features many of the war machines used in the European theatre of WW2, including the main Sherman tank Pitt and his crew use (which we had a chance to ride in). The comparable tank used by the Nazi’s at the time, the Tiger tank, was a fearsome machine that could destroy other tanks from 2km away. Only one Tiger tank remains operational today and it was loaned out by the Bovington Tank Museum in Dorset, England to be used in the film. This marks the first time a real Tiger tank has been used in a war film. Fury is rated 14A.
