Free backpacks given to students in need in Hamilton

Hamilton’s fifth annual backpack giveaway took place today.

This tradition is about giving free backpacks and other school supplies to kids that need them.

It is hosted by RCCG Chapel of Praise and operates on the belief that every child deserves a strong start to their educational journey.

This annual giveaway is a way for members of the community to come together and support each other.

The event also has food and activities for all ages.
