Four in hospital, one in critical condition after Mississauga mass shooting

Before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Peel police were called to a commercial plaza at 1195 Queensway East in Mississauga for reports of multiple gunshots.

“On our arrival, we located 3 victims suffering gunshot wounds. A fourth victim made their own way to a local hospital also suffering gunshot wounds,” police say.

The 4 victims are all adult men, 3 of the victims were taken to a local hospital, one of them in life-threatening condition after being shot several times, and the 3 others are in stable condition.

Police say they don’t know if this shooting is connected to any others, as the violence took place in a single unit.

Peel police say the one victim who was taken to hospital in serious condition has been upgraded to stable.
