Former school bus driver in Burlington arrested for sexual assault

Police have laid multiple charges against a former school bus driver from Aylmer following a sexual assault investigation.

Investigators with Halton Regional Police’s Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit arrested 80-year-old Gordon Jack on Oct. 7.

He has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference following an incident involving a youth in Burlington five years ago.

Jack has been released from custody pending a court appearance. He is a former school bus driver who worked in the Burlington and Aylmer areas.

Police suspect there may be more victims involved and encourage them to come forward.

There is no statute of limitation when it comes to reporting a sexual assault. This means that no matter how long ago the sexual assault happened, it can still be reported to police for investigation.
