Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor

Thanks to a combination of media pressure and a lot of money, on August 26th, Floyd Mayweather, regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time will take on UFC lightweight champ Conor McGregor.
The fighters were in Toronto Wednesday to promote the fight.

40-year old Mayweather said that it would take a 9-figure payout to get him out of retirement in pursuit of going undefeated in 50 fights. Well, he and the 28-year old McGregor are set to get that and then some. It’s expected that Mayweather, who Forbes lists as having a networth of $340 million, will pocket about $100 million. McGregor is set to bring in $75 million.

Pay Per Views will cost Canadians about $125. Tickets for the fight in Vegas start at a face value of $500 U.S. and skyrocket to $10 000.
