Five-year-old boy struck and killed by a vehicle in Mississauga
A child has died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the road in Mississauga.
Police say the five-year-old boy was on a bike at Hurontario St. and Elm Dr. when he was struck around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
He was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition but did not survive.

Reports from the scene suggest the driver was trying to turn right at the time. Police say the driver remained on scene and is cooperating.
