Fishing quotas reduced

Commercial fishermen on Lake Erie will see a slight dip in their quota this year.

Fishery managers across the United States and Ontario have reduced the allowable catch for Walleye by 4% and Yellow Perch by 10%. The recommendations came after lakewide biological assessments, tests, and consultations with stakeholders.
