Fire investigation underway at Hamilton flooring business

Officials say a fire investigation is underway at a flooring business on Upper Ottawa Street in Hamilton.

Emergency crews were called to Bucko Flooring just after 2:30 a.m. for reports of a blaze.

Police and fire responded, and say thankfully no one was inside the building at the time and no injuries were reported.

An officer who was at the scene said the fire was “pretty substantial” when they arrived.

Police have closed roads in the area as fire crews work to extinguish the flames.
