Female customer stabbed during robbery at Oakville pharmacy

Police say a woman has been hospitalized with stab wounds after two suspects robbed a pharmacy in Oakville Tuesday with a knife.

Officers responded around 5:30 p.m. to Abbeywood Pharmacy near Third Line and Highway 403.

Investigators say two male suspects, one of whom had a knife, entered the pharmacy.

Halton police say one of the suspects stabbed a female customer after they got into a fight.

She was taken to hospital with minor injuries. No one else was injured during the incident.

A pharmacy employee confronted one of the suspects. The pair then fled in a vehicle towards Third Line.

Investigators say the two male suspects were last seen wearing disguises and dark clothing.
