Feds quash BHP Billiton bid for Potash Corp

The federal government has rejected what would have been the largest foreign takeover in Canadian history.

Australia’s BHP Billiton was trying to buy Saskatchewan’s Potash Corporation. Potash is a key ingredient in fertilizer. Marvin Ryder of the DeGroote School of Business gives us his analysis.
