Federal Liberal party candidate Mark Carney in Hamilton for meet-and-greet

Federal Liberal party candidate Mark Carney will be in Hamilton today to host a meet-and-greet with local supporters.

The event is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at McMaster Innovation Park and is open to registered supporters and the media.

Prior to the meet-and-greet Carney will tour the McMaster Automotive Resource Centre, a leading academic research program in transportation electrification and smart mobility.

The economist and banker is running to be the next leader of the Liberal Party of Canada.

Canada’s NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will also be in Hamilton today to meet and speak with United Steelworkers at their local office.

Ontario Liberal party leader Bonnie Crombie is also in Hamilton today as part of her provincial election campaign.
