Fatal plane crash near Cambridge

The transportation safety board is investigating a float plane crash east of Cambridge that killed one man and sent another to hospital.

Rescue crews scrambled to reach the small plane after it went down at the southeast corner of Puslinch Lake.

Eyewitnesses say two float planes had been practicing landings and takeoffs when one crashed into the woods near a home.

The OPP say there were two men aboard.

One was taken to Cambridge Memorial Hospital by ambulance, while the other died at the scene.
