Fatal fire not suspicious

Investigators have determined that last Friday’s fatal house fire in Grimsby is not suspicious.

The fire on Ridge Road West claimed the lives of longtime a Grimsby couple; 94 year old Ronald Moyer and his wife 98 year old Margaret.

Investigators say their deaths are directly attributed to the fire which is still under investigation.

Ronald Moyer was a pioneer in the region’s grape and wine industry.

He was inducted into the Ontario Agriculture Hall of Fame in 1999.
