Fatal crash in Brant County

A single car crash early Friday morning has killed one man and sent another man to hospital.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Highway 53 and Middle Townline Road, west of Burford after three o’clock this morning.

The small black sedan was completely destroyed after it went into the ditch and hit a tree before ending up back on the road.

The passenger in the vehicle, 20 year old Sheldon Howell, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 20 year old driver was taken to hospital but is expected to be ok.

Both men are from Norfolk County.
