Haldimand Road 20 reopened following fatal crash

A two-vehicle crash in Haldimand County has claimed the life of a 91-year-old man.

Police say the incident occurred on Sunday, around Haldimand Road 20 and Richert Road after one of the vehicles veered towards the centre of the roadway and collided with the other.

The other driver sustained minor injuries.

Police say they are not facing any criminal charges.

The incident closed the roadway while an investigation was carried out, but it has since reopened.
