Farm denies allegations in Jamaican migrant worker letter

The federal government is calling an open letter from migrant farm workers in Niagara disturbing and says it is currently in consultation with Ontario’s Labour Ministry which is conducting an investigation.

The open letter says Jamaican migrant farm workers face “systemic slavery” in Canada.

CHCH News reached out to both farms named in the letter, one got back to us calling the allegations completely false.
