Family in fear after shooting

17 Devin Howard year old remains in hospital in Hamilton after he was shot during a home invasion Friday night. Police have not made any arrests but say this is a targeted attack.

Howard was rushed to hospital just after 7 Friday night after being shot twice by masked men at his Eastbourne avenue home. He lives on the main floor of the home with his mom and was home alone Friday night when he was shot. Police are looking for 3 or 4 men who were wearing masks at the time of the break-in.

Devin’s mother hasn’t returned to the house since her sons shooting and she says that her son may never want to go home. Neighbours say that the people who live in the basement are also steering clear of the residence.

His mother set up a Go Fund Me page to help cover things like household bills and food while she stays by his bedside.
