Family ‘good luck charm’ ejected from Lancaster plane

Bunny, a stuffed rabbit that has belonged to the Maginnis family for years, fell out of a Lancaster bomber mid-flight.

Bunny’s owner, Victoria Maginnis, has had Bunny for almost her whole life. She even sent the toy as a good luck charm with her father, Jim, when he was deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 in with the Royal Air Force.

Saturday afternoon Jim flew the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museums Lancaster, with Bunny by his side.

But things took a horrible turn when Bunny was sucked out of the plane.

Using flight data, the family calculated Bunny’s possible landing locations. She could be near Aldershot or the Burlington Ikea.

If you see bunny, the family asks you email them at: findbunny2019@gmail.com.
