Extreme cold strains Alberta’s electricity grid

Extreme cold continues across Alberta, after a weekend of temperatures in the minus 40s with frigid wind-chills.

Albertans are being asked to reduce their energy usage, as the cold ravages the power grid, threatening blackouts.
