Set in a working class northern suburb of 1960s England, Northern Soul explores the dance and music movement that had the youth of the era (and area) entranced by American Soul music.

We caught up with director Elaine Constantine during and her stars Josh Whitehouse and Elliot James Langridge during TIFF2015 to discuss the historical period and reviving the Northern Soul club scenes for the film.
